Guard your heart

Are you quickly influence by your surroundings? Do you easily absorb negativities and stress? Everyday we struggle to guard ourselves from worries and temptations. How can we resist all of these and control our emotions?

In Proverbs 4:23, it says "Above all else, guard your heart." This verse emphasizes the importance of our mind and soul which is  powered by our hearts, the center of our bodies, the foundation of our inner life. Guarding our heart means reading and listening to good words and lessons from the bible. Whatever we read and listen to will be reflected on our emotions and feelings and will ne translated in our actions.

My brothers and sisters, always remember to guard your hearts and focus of Godly matters.
