Do you love God? If you love him, do you also show your love to others? Do you love others as you love God and yourself?
It is easy to say that we can follow God's commandments but it is hard to do. The summary of God's commandment is encapsulated in Galatians 5:14, "Love your neighbor as yourself." The message of this scripture is simple. We follow God's commandments to show our love to Him. If you truly love Him, then you should be consistent in applying His teachings. Loving God means you should also love others too. You can't just say that you only love God and you don't show your love to others.
Being a christian means to follow God's commandments and to show our character consistently to everyone. We should not be selective in doing good for only a few. We should be a salt and light to everyone, even to non-believers.
