Submission

Have you submitted yourself to someone? Did you gave it all? How far can you trust someone?

When I was a kid, I put my whole trust to my parents. I trusted their advice. I followed their rules. I knew at that time that they just wanted what the best for me. All that they say is only for my good, for my future. I never doubted my parents' love to me. My mom and dad were very supportive of me in school, in work and in every endeavor that I will take. I am not perfect but my parents accepted and supported me in everything that I do. They also forgave me for my mishaps.

This is how Jesus has shown His trust to our God. In his last moments on earth, he trusted God's plan and follow it. He knew that he will die and be resurrected. He was prepared to conquer the pain of dying on the cross to save mankind from the sins of the world. He was the lamb of God who washed away the sins of the world.

In Hebrews 5:7, the scripture reminds us that:

"During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission."

Despite all the hardships we face in life, always remember to trust God in thought, word and deed. You can do marvelous things because He is always on our side through ups and downs.

Have we accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? How far is your faith growing? Can you fully submit your life to Him?
