Alignment

We see a lot of people praying, praising and worshiping the Lord everyday. Are these actions transcend to every aspect of their lives? Maybe yes or no, who are we to judge them.

Its easy to show to people how holy and righteous we are by being present in church every Sunday, giving donations and actively volunteer to every activity. These good works might seem enormous and some may think it can fill in our Holy Bank Account as a deposit, even if we have withdrawals of bad attitudes. This belief of some Christians is false.

Paul's letter to the Ephesians, say:

‭Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV‬
[8] For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— [9] not by works, so that no one can boast.

It is only by faith and not by good works, that we are saved by God's grace. We can never boast about it and brag that we have a lot of points to go to heaven.

If we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, then we are holy as He is Holy. Everyday as we reflect His words in the bible,  always find a way to align your actions from His teachings.

Let's align our mind, body and soul to God everyday. Lets embody a Christlike character in word, thought and deed. We are meant to be an alignment with Jesus Christ.
