Prosper and refresh others

Have you helped others in times of need? 

We all have our ups and downs. Sometimes, we have more but oftentimes our resources are not enough. Everyday, we find ways to survive and its also a challenge to help others if you are also struggling. 

I remember there was a time a relative of mine asked for help because his son is in the hospital. He doesn't have enough money to pay the bills. During that time, I don't also have that much money. I have a lot of bills to pay. However, I thought at the time to put myself in his shoes, I will also struggle like him thinking I have nowhere to run to. I borrowed money for them because I thought they needed it the most they need immediate help for his son. At that time, I was their only hope to survive and I answered their prayer. God entrusted me and made me an instrument to help them.

This is what the wisdom from Proverbs 11:25 says: "A generous man will prosper, he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed."

In life, we are not always at our best and there are others who needs to be lifted up when they are down. As we live life with Christ, let us remember to always share our blessings.
