Food for the soul: God gives peace to all of us

Men like us experiences a lot of hardships in life. There is no time that we don't have a problem. We all have problems in work, school, family, money and friends. Sometimes we feel that this is never ending. But choosing not to worry is a choice and it is your decision to trust God always that everything will be alright. I am reminded by the verse in the bible in Matthew 6:25-34 (ESV):

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?[g] 28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Let us claim that promise of God that everything that we need is provided, we just need to put our 100% trust in Him. Let us have a calm spirit and choose not to worry in all the things that we may encounter.Let us have a peaceful heart in walking in our faith.

Peace is not something external and it is not given by the world. Peace is from within you it reflects your acceptance to Christ as your Lord and Saviour and you will receive eternal peace. Peace is already there you just need to choose to be confident, choose to be brave and choose to be become  a new version of yourself of trusting the Lord in whatever situation you are in. As written in John 14:23 (ESV), that God gives us peace not what the world gives.

27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Therefore, we should never be afraid to face the world full of trouble. Our only weapon is faith, trust and confidence from God that He will never forsake us. Peace is something that you do in a calm manner. You just need to pause for a while and reflect before making any decisions. Always seek answers from the bible. Do not lean on your understanding but always refer to God’s words in the bible (Proverbs 3:5, ESV).

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean in your own understanding.

Labor Market in the Macroeconomy

The Labor Market: Basic Concepts

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) prepare reports regarding the results of a household survey that provides an estimate of the number of people with a job, the employed (E), as well as the number of people who are looking for work but cannot find a job, the unemployed (U). The labor force (LF) is the number of employed plus unemployed:

LF = E + U

The unemployment rate is the number of people unemployed as a percentage of the labor force:

Unemployment rate = unemployed / labor force

To repeat, to be unemployed, a person must be out of a job and actively looking for work. When a person stops looking for work, he or she is considered out of the labor force and is no longer counted as unemployed. It is important to realize that even if the economy is running at or near full capacity, the unemployment rate will never be zero.

Aggregate Demand and Aggregate Supply (AD-AS Model)

Aggregate Demand (AD) Curve is the the curve that shows the level of real GDP purchased by households, businesses, government, and foreigners (net exports) at different possible price levels during a time period, ceteris paribus.

On the other hand, Aggregate Supply (AS) Curve is the curve that shows the level of real GDP produced at different possible price levels during a time period, ceteris paribus.

Non-price level determinants affecting the shift of AD ans AS are summarized below:
