Brothers and Sisters in Christ, praising and worshiping God is not just in church, we should honor Him at home, at work, in school or at our community. It means that whenever and wherever we are we should honor God in doing our chores, jobs, studies, businesses and volunteer works. Our duty as Christians is not limited only in church because we need to embody and show to non-believers how a true follower of Christ consistently act in different settings.
We should show kindness, compassion, perseverance, love, happiness and joy in everything that we do. Having gentleness in our character transcend to our physical wellbeing and we can attract people to worship the Lord.
In Colossians 3:17, Paul reminded the church people of Colossae to do things all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our walk with the Lord is not limited, it is infinite and cross-cutting. We can serve Him through the people and communities we serve. Serving them with passion is like serving the Lord with all our hearts and minds. Our Christ-like character is not just during church service, the real test of our Christianity is to go out to the world and spread the gospel.
